Taroko Gorge

This is the fifth post in the series Round The World 2016. Start reading at the beginning, Taroko Gorge.

A river runs at the bottom of a gigantic stone gorge which winds away out of frame. A road has been carved into one of the two stone faces, necessitating a tunnel in one place. Human figures, small against the scale of the gorge, can be seen on the road.
