Day 2: Shijo-dori

This is the sixth of 14 posts in the ongoing series Japan 2009.
By this point we were really hungry, so we headed towards Shijo-dori, a major street in eastern Kyōto.
This is Shinkyogoku-dori. Most large cities in Japan have at least one of these Shōtengai shopping streets, often covered and open only to foot traffic.
We found a storekeeper.
And his punk goth clothing store.
So, um, that was our first full day in Japan. How are you doing? Are you still having fun? Joe, sit back down this presentation is not over.
Yeah, this part was sort of boring, but I really liked that shop.
